Is there a charge for the ID card?

Your first BuckID is free.

How long will it take once my ID card on-line application is submitted?

First time students will receive their card during orientation. Your BuckID may be picked up at the BuckID Office at 3040 Ohio Union, 1739 North High Street, Columbus. The BuckID Office is open from 8am-5pm weekdays.

What is the largest file size I can upload?


What photo file types do you accept?

JPEG (.jpg) only are accepted.

What happens if the photo I supply does not meet the specified requirements?

Your application for an ID card will be delayed. You will receive an email indicating the reason why the photo is not acceptable and will have to either re-upload another picture or visit the BuckID Office to have your card manually produced.

How do I get a replacement card?

Replacement cards are available at the BuckID Office in room 3040 of the Ohio Union.

What is the cost to replace your card?

Lost cards will be replaced for a fee of $20. Damaged cards are replaced free of charge if the damaged card is turned in to BuckID at the time of replacement.
